Supreme Leader declares this year’s Hajj a pilgrimage of disavowal

Ahead of the Hajj pilgrimage, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution met with officials and pilgrims, calling for this year's event to serve as a platform for disavowal against the Zionist regime.

On the eve of the great Abrahamic Hajj congress, officials, Hajj organisers, and a group of Iranian pilgrims gathered at the Imam Khomeini Hussainiya this morning to meet with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei.

During the meeting, the Supreme Leader described the remembrance of God and the unity and connection of Muslims as the two most significant spiritual and social elements of the Hajj pilgrimage. Referring to the immense tragedy in Gaza and the crimes committed by the bloodthirsty Zionist regime, he stated that in light of the verses of the Holy Quran and the blessed name of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), this year’s Hajj must, more than ever, be a pilgrimage of disavowal against this criminal enemy of Muslims and its supporters.
