Hajj and Pilgrimage Director meets Yazd Shahid Sadooghi Airport Director General

The Hajj and Pilgrimage Director of Yazd Province met with the Director General of the province's airports to coordinate services and discuss the resumption of Atabat flights.

In order to coordinate the province's pilgrimage sector with the Yazd airport complex to enhance services for the province's Hajj, Umrah and Atabat pilgrims, Ruhollah Shah Ebrahimi, the director of Hajj and Pilgrimage of the province, visited Yazd Airport today, Monday, 20/07/1405 [solar calendar], and met with Mr Hamidpour, the director general of Yazd province airports.

During this meeting, while emphasising the further improvement of services for pilgrims, strategies for the resumption of Atabat flights from Yazd Airport were also examined and discussed. Considering the eagerness of the noble people of Yazd province to visit the holy shrines and the province's favourable past record of air dispatches, it was agreed that all capacities of the province should be utilised to re-establish Yazd flights to the holy shrines in Iraq.

In addition, during the meeting, Mr Shah Ebrahimi expressed his appreciation for the efforts and special services provided by the Yazd airport complex to the pilgrims, particularly the director general's special dedication to this matter.

At the end, the provincial director of Hajj and Pilgrimage inspected the procedures and stages of airport services provided to pilgrims on the ground.
