Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation announces Umrah pilgrimage schedule

The Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation has released the schedule and registration procedures for the upcoming Umrah pilgrimage season, divided into two distinct phases.
The Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation has announced the schedule for the Umrah pilgrimage, offering condolences on the passing of the Prophet Muhammad and the martyrdom of Imam Hassan Mojtaba and Imam Reza. Following coordination and preparations, the dispatch of eligible applicants will be conducted in two phases. The first phase covers departures from 18 September 2024 to 20 December 2024, while the second phase covers departures from 21 December 2024 until the end of the Umrah season, with details for the latter to be announced in due course.
Registration for the first phase is divided into four stages: Stage one on 7 September 2024 for Kurdistan and Kermanshah provinces; stage two on 8 September 2024 for Isfahan, Tehran, Razavi Khorasan, Fars, Qom, Alborz, Mazandaran, North Khorasan, South Khorasan, Markazi, Hamadan, Qazvin, Kashan, and East Azerbaijan; stage three on 10 September 2024 for Golestan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Gilan, Semnan, Lorestan, Ilam, Zanjan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Ardabil, and West Azerbaijan; and stage four on 21 September 2024 for Yazd, Kerman, Sistan and Baluchestan, Bushehr, Hormozgan, and Khuzestan.
Eligible registrants include those who registered for last year's Umrah and paid the fees but were unable to travel due to capacity limits, as well as holders of Umrah deposit cards with priority numbers between 1 and 180. To register, applicants must visit the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation's single-window portal at MY.HAJ.IR to update their information, form groups if travelling with family, select a caravan, pay online, and visit a pilgrimage service office to finalise documentation. Applicants have 48 hours to complete the caravan selection, payment, and document submission process as specified on their reservation slip; failure to do so will result in the automatic cancellation of the registration.
Travel costs cover airfare, hotel accommodation, catering, transport, visa issuance, insurance, administrative fees, and training sessions. Pilgrimage offices across the country are prepared to assist applicants with the registration process for a set fee. Those who have forgotten their priority status can check their status (out of 600) via the organisation's portal or by dialling *4*64511# on their mobile phones. The system also allows for group registrations to facilitate simultaneous booking for multiple people.
If called-up applicants do not register or select a caravan within three days of their designated start date, the organisation will invite other priority holders to fill the vacancies. Furthermore, the issuance of visas is contingent upon applicants holding a passport with at least seven months of validity from the date of their flight.
