Hamyar Arbaeen application launched with new features for pilgrims

The Hamyar Arbaeen application has been updated with a range of new features to assist pilgrims during their journey, including location services and lost property reporting.
According to the Hajj and Pilgrimage information portal, the Hamyar Arbaeen application now offers a variety of features, including a guide to key locations, the mapping of mawkibs (pilgrim rest stations), and the locations of pilgrim guidance and lost-and-found centres. The app also provides functionality for registering lost persons and items, a section for prayers and rituals, a feature for recording personal moments, and an Arbaeen media section containing dozens of audio eulogies from various reciters. Furthermore, it includes maps of the pilgrimage cities of Karbala, Najaf, Kadhimiya, and Samarra, a travel checklist, the ability to add group members, and free SMS messaging.
Regarding a significant update, the developers noted that for those currently in Iraq whose SIM cards are inactive and unable to receive SMS verification codes, the latest version of the application now allows users to opt to receive their verification code via the Bale messenger app. Users are encouraged to install the application to take advantage of these available features.
