Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation coordinates volunteer services for Arbaeen

The provincial director of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation has met with volunteer staff to discuss operational preparations for the upcoming Arbaeen pilgrimage in Karbala.

During the ceremony, Mr Shokri, the provincial director of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation, paid tribute to the volunteer staff and offered them guidance. While outlining the current conditions in Karbala and the status of the Arbaeen Headquarters' relief operations, he prayed for the health and well-being of all those serving the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

The first group of volunteers was dispatched to Karbala on Thursday, 8 August. This process is carried out annually by the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation through the selection of pilgrimage agents across the country. This vital operation is intended to provide assistance to pilgrims who become lost along the various routes taken during the Arbaeen procession.
