Iranian pilgrims to travel between Medina and Mecca by high-speed train this year

The head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation has announced that all Iranian pilgrims will travel between Medina and Mecca by train during this year's Hajj season.

The head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation stated that the efforts of his organisation and the Office of the Supreme Leader for this year's Hajj rituals are focused on ensuring greater comfort and convenience for pilgrims, confirming that all Iranian pilgrims will be transported by train on the Medina-Mecca route this year.

Seyyed Abbas Hosseini added that transferring pilgrims by train will reduce the eight-hour travel time between Mecca and Medina by bus to two hours.
