According to the Kashan Hajj and Pilgrimage Department, the first group of Umrah pilgrims from the Kashan region set off for the holy lands on Monday morning, 7 October 2024, departing from Imam Khomeini International Airport. Hamidreza Behrouzi-Far, head of the Kashan Hajj and Pilgrimage Department, announced that the group, consisting of 84 pilgrims from the counties of Kashan and Aran va Bidgol, was seen off last night from the shrine of Hilal ibn Ali (AS) and the local martyrs' cemetery before departing Tehran for Jeddah this morning. He added that, thanks to divine grace and the efforts and coordination of his colleagues at the Hajj and Pilgrimage Department, a second group of pilgrims from the Kashan region is scheduled to depart for the holy lands next week. The head of the department noted that pilgrimage service offices are currently filling capacity for caravans departing in November. Applicants wishing to undertake the Umrah pilgrimage can visit these service offices to register for next month's departures. Finally, he advised that eligible applicants who have previously made a deposit for Umrah can update their details, complete their information, and register for caravans by visiting the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization's single-window portal at my.haj.ir or by contacting authorised pilgrimage service offices.
