Hajj and Pilgrimage Management of Gilan announces registration procedures for the second phase of Umrah 1394

The Hajj and Pilgrimage Management of Gilan has announced that registration for the second phase of the 1436 AH (2014-2015) Umrah pilgrimage will commence on 7 February 2015.

With the assistance of the Almighty and in accordance with established planning, following previous announcements, the registration of applicants with priority status for the second phase of the 1436 AH Umrah pilgrimage (covering flights between 12 March 2015 and 17 June 2015) will begin on 7 February 2015.

Eligible applicants include those who hold national registration cards and have entered their details into the fakher.haj.ir system, provided that the status of the group leader and their companions is currently marked in white, indicating they are eligible to reserve and select flights. For residents of Gilan, along with several other provinces, priority status 1 to 350 may begin the reservation process from 9:00 am on 7 February 2015 via the aforementioned website. Failure to complete the reservation and registration within this period will result in the capacity being opened to subsequent priority groups.

If individuals fail to register within the specified timeframe, or do not visit a pilgrimage office within 72 hours of making a reservation to finalise their registration, their reservation will be voided. From 14 February 2015 at 9:00 am, those with priority status 351 to 400 will be invited to fill remaining vacancies. Should capacity remain, priority status 401 and above will subsequently be activated in the system. It is noted that the pilgrimage is strictly subject to the timely issuance of visas by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the confirmation of flight schedules.

Applicants are advised to check the provincial Hajj and Pilgrimage Management website approximately three days prior to general registration to view the list of pilgrimage offices, flight dates, and pricing groups. Before the start of registration, offices are not permitted to accept applicants or documents under any circumstances, including waiting lists. Initial registration must be performed solely through the official system on the designated date and time.

To finalise registration, applicants must visit their chosen pilgrimage agent within 72 hours of making a reservation, bringing all required documentation. Group leaders are responsible for managing the group's status and reservations using their national ID and password. Travel costs, which include currency and rial components, airfare, and administrative fees for training sessions and staff, are to be paid via a payment slip at the designated bank, based on the approved price tables displayed at the registration offices.

To prevent disruptions, changing the departure province within the system will not be possible during the five-day registration window. Furthermore, to facilitate visa issuance and avoid potential delays, all individuals with flights scheduled between 12 March 2015 and 9 April 2015 must present a passport valid for at least seven months from the date of their flight when visiting the pilgrimage office to finalise their registration.
