Yazd Hajj and Pilgrimage Director continues inspections of provincial pilgrimage offices and companies

According to the public relations office of the Yazd Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation, Dr Ruhollah Shah-Ebrahimi, the Director of the Yazd Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation, visited the Gardeshgaran-e Rabat and Saman Seir-e Tooba offices on Saturday, 3 October 2026, as part of his ongoing field inspections of pilgrimage agencies.

During these visits, the operational processes of the offices and the quality of services provided to pilgrims were reviewed. The office managers presented reports regarding their performance, current issues, and specific requests.

A primary focus of the discussions was the exploration of strategies to increase pilgrimages to the Atabat (holy sites in Iraq). The provincial director emphasised that pilgrimage agencies should utilise all available capacity to attract and dispatch pilgrims, noting the strong reputation that pilgrimage agents currently hold among the public.

The use of digital platforms, including channels and groups managed by the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation and provincial agents, was highlighted as a key method for ensuring accurate information reaches the target audience. Managers were urged to work with empathy, cooperation, and synergy to assist in filling the travel groups of other agencies.

It is noted that 13 pilgrimage offices have been inspected to date, with plans in place to visit all pilgrimage offices and companies across the province.
