Registration for Minor Pilgrimage Opens for Applicants in Gilan Province

Registration for applicants of the minor Hajj pilgrimage in Gilan Province is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, 10 September 2024.

Applicants and enthusiasts wishing to undertake the minor Hajj pilgrimage in Gilan Province can begin updating their information and selecting their travel groups from 10:00 AM on Tuesday, 20 Shahrivar 1403 (10 September 2024), according to the Hajj and Pilgrimage Directorate of Gilan.

Vahid Eskandari stated that the dispatch of eligible applicants for the minor Hajj will take place on 7 Mehr 1403 (28 September 2024), adding that the dates and procedures for subsequent minor Hajj departure slots will be announced in due course until the end of the pilgrimage season.

Regarding the schedule and stages of registration for depositors in the province, he specified that eligible beneficiaries in Gilan Province can proceed with completing their information, selecting their travel groups, and continuing the registration process from Tuesday, 20 Shahrivar.

Those eligible for registration and qualified to participate include:

1. Holders of minor Hajj deposit receipts with priority rankings from 1 to 180, who are included in the first batch for registration.

2. Applicants from last year's minor Hajj who registered in a travel group and paid their fees, but could not make the journey due to dispatch capacity limits; their funds were systematically refunded and their priority status has been preserved.

Concerning the registration method and required documentation, the Director of Hajj and Pilgrimage of Gilan Province explained that applicants can either visit the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation's single-window portal at MY.HAJ.IR to update their details, form a group (including family and relatives if travelling together), and select a tour group, or they can apply through authorised pilgrimage service offices and companies across the province.
