Hojatoleslam Mehdi Shoja, director of Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs in Razavi Khorasan Province, said pilgrimage service workers in the province are fully prepared to serve pilgrims and participants attending the funeral ceremony for Ali Khamenei in Mashhad, and that 44 schools in the city have been prepared for accommodation and hospitality. According to a notice published on the official Bale channel of Iran’s Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Shoja said the arrangements were made to host visitors and participants in the ceremony and to provide necessary services for guests arriving in Mashhad, the city of Imam Reza’s shrine. He added that Hajj and pilgrimage workers in Razavi Khorasan are using their available capacity to facilitate the presence of visitors, while the official source did not publish additional details about the expected number of visitors, the operating period of the accommodation centres, or further logistical arrangements.
